    Hi Stephanie!
    I love your blog! Thank you for sharing your ideas--there are so many that I can use in my room :)

    My next unit in writing is persuasive--where did you get the 5 star writing? Was it your modeled piece or was it a former student's piece? I think having that for the students to see helps set expectations :)

    Hi Jen! Thanks for all the positive feedback.

    The 5* writing piece was a former student's piece however, I think you can definitely use a modeled example too. It was a good idea to set the bar for students to have something to look forward to publishing.
